Such is our mantra in our G.A.T.E. classes’ S.T.E.A.M. Enrichment curriculum. Both in our academic and social learning, we strive to inspire self-esteem, curiosity and intellectual growth. Our classrooms transform into idea labs for Science, Technology and Engineering, the Arts and Math…now there’s a winning combination!

We encourage “out of the box” problem-solving and collaborative skills in projects allowing students to question, learn and invent through critical thinking and loads of imagination. Project-based learning becomes our culture, not an afterthought.

Truly passionate about educating the leaders of tomorrow, we delight in watching our students continue to win acclaim in national and local contests as we

- Research and emulate art masters of the past and present
- Write and illustrate our own literary masterpieces in the vain of Ezra Jack Keats
- Discuss and analyze Junior Great Books literature as we apply morals and open-ended stories to our own lives
- Share thinking strategies for solving advanced Math Olympiad brainteasers
- Prepare Science Projects (experiments, constructions, and research) for schoolwide and New York City Science Expos
